A story about one woman’s courage to overcome domestic violence, school bullying and other issues of abuse.

The story presents the leading character as a resilient woman who is determined not to let this evil destroy her. Instead, she builds up the courage to walk away even when the perpetrator was determined to destroy her.
This was one personal battle she had to win!

Rising Above Barriers is geared around bringing some inspiration to the reader that in the face of
adversity, don’t give up because you will get to that place of triumph. Also, the reader gathers
historical events of people who have gone through difficulties but never give up, for example, Nelson
Mandela, the former President of South Africa. This is to bring conviction to the readers that they
too will face obstacles, setbacks, and trials but being resilient is the key to success.
